The two video games “perform well” economically, but Resident Evil 7 remains below expectations.
Two video games from Nintendo Switch are the main responsible for the good economic results of Capcom in the last quarter of the fiscal year ended on September 30. The division of video games, called Digital Contents, has experienced an increase of 23% over the same period last year and reaching 20 billion yen in revenue, with profits of 3,800 million.
What titles do we talk about? Specifically, we refer to Monster Hunter XX and Ultra Street Fighter II The Final Challengers, two video games that do not provide data that are too specific but which are said to be “firmly surrendered”, and the second that has been a “little hit”
The Japanese company also has space in its information to talk about Marvel vs.Capcom Infinite, although it does not describe at all how it is working, of Monster Hunter XX, of which it says that “it complies without great variations” and of a Monster Hunter Explore that “remains popular”.
For the end, we have left a Resident Evil 7 that we told you a few days ago that has exceeded 4 million units sold. Well, Capcom reiterates the data, and once again stress that the game has not had a commercial operation in accordance with expectations.
