They recognize that they did not expect the console to be so successful.
The president of Bandai Namco has assured the company’s investors that in the coming months more resources will be allocated for the development of video games on Nintendo Switch , where to date their work is “working well”.
“So far we have published three games on Switch and they are all working well,” said Mitsuaki Taguchi . “It’s a shame, but we do not think that Switch would have such a quick acceptance,” adds the Bandai Namco manager, who admits he has underestimated Nintendo’s hybrid console.
With Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 available recently at Nintendo Switch, the president of Bandai Namco hopes that in the next fiscal year they can present more titles for the Kyoto machine. At the moment no specific work plans have been offered for the console.
